User Bio An Oklahoma transplant from Maryland, Courtney moved on a whim to continue her mother's dream of running a non-profit for veterans looking to enter the agriculture industry. Together, with her new husband, they also run a cow/calf operation and offer beef direct-to-consumer. Courtney grew up showing horses and learning the hard way not to tempt black Angus mamas on her family's farm. She volunteered and worked as an EMT in Maryland and Pennsylvania before moving. Now she enjoys loving on the multitude of animals she's collected and baking (albeit badly) sourdough.
