User Bio Missy Bonds of Saginaw, Texas, works as Assistant General Manager of Bonds Ranch, her family’s operation, and manages export programs for their cattle with the USDA. Their operation is a cow/calf, stocker, and feeding operation that stems across 26 counties in the state of Texas and 13 different states. Bonds received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas Tech University and attended Texas Christian University’s Ranch Management Program. As an active alumnus of the TCU Ranch Management Program, Missy served as Alumni President from 2011-2012. She has participated in the XI class of the Texas Agricultural Lifetime Leadership Program. She also serves on the advisory board for Lone Star Ag Council and is on the board of directors for the Texas Southwestern Cattle Raisers Foundation. Missy was awarded the Mitzi Lucas Riley Award from the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame in 2013, recognizing her efforts in promoting Western heritage through education and volunteerism. Missy was elected a director for TSCRA in 2009 and has served as chairperson of the Marketing Committee. She was elected a director of the Texas Lyceum in 2019 and is an active participant in this organization. Missy has also served as the Chairman of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s International Trade Committee.
