User Bio Patty Tiberg most recently served as the chief marketing and business development officer for the largest equine breed registry in the world – the American Quarter Horse Association. In her role, she managed the Association’s corporate partnerships, marketing, media, communications, and special events to promote AQHA’s mission, programs and events to more than 232,000 members in over 130 countries. Tiberg previously served as vice president of the Morris Media Network Equine Group, parent company of several equine industry media brands and event platforms including Western Horseman, Quarter Horse News, Barrel Horse News, the National Barrel Horse Association, West Coast Barrel Racing Association and Road to the Horse. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Tiberg also worked as a sales representative for Miller’s Harness Company, the director of member services for the Horse Industry Alliance and as membership director for the Alabama Quarter Horse Association. She was born and raised in a suburb of Long Island, New York, where she participated as a competitor in AQHA events. Tiberg is also an active volunteer. She serves as the adviser to the board of directors and is past president of the Koolen-de Vries Syndrome Foundation, an organization she helped organize after her son was diagnosed with the syndrome. Patty and her husband, Steven, reside in Aledo, Texas, with their 20-year-old son, Colby, and 18-year-old daughter, Taylor.
