User Bio Angie received a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education from Texas Tech University. She worked for 25 years in the mental health field as a Licensed Professional Counselor, with the last 15 of those years in the role of Clinical Director at a residential treatment center for children and teens. In 2013, Angie exited the mental health field as a result of burn out and with a desire to run the horse rescue she and her husband Terry founded in 2009. The mission of Easy R Equine Rescue is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome horses in need; and to provide outreach services to horse owners in this region. She currently holds the position of Executive Director of Easy R and spends a great deal of time in all the activities related to rescue and rehabilitation. In addition, Angie is the compliance manager at English Newsom Cellars, and is a registered yoga instructor.
