User Bio Everyone please help us welcome Lauren Lovelace Murray to Ag Women Connect! We are so excited to have her as a friend and member, we will be doing more together as the company grows. Fort Worth is where we love to go and advocate! Lauren Lovelace Murray is from Grapevine, Texas and is a graduate of Texas Tech University where she earned Bachelors and Masters of Animal Science degrees. She has worked at the Fort Worth Stock Show &a Rodeo since 2005 and currently serves as the Horse Show Director. As Horse Show Director at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, her responsibilities include implementation of the Ranching Heritage Weekend, which includes Ranch Horse Shows, three (3) Horse Sales, and a Ranch Gathering Party. She is also responsible for the planning and execution of 16 breed/discipline Horse Shows and managing the Equine Scholarship Program. In 2023, the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo Horse Show had over 5,500 entries, the Equine Scholarship Program awarded over $180,000 in youth scholarships and the overall attendance was over 1.2 million people during the 23 day Show. She is a Texas Director for the American Quarter Horse Association and is on the AQHA Marketing and Membership Committee. She also serves as President for the Citizens Support Group for the Fort Worth Police Mounted Patrol. She is an active member of the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame and the Fort Worth Farm & Ranch Club. Lauren resides in Fort Worth, Texas and when not busy with FWSSR, she assists her husband, Patrick, with their cow/calf and yearling operation. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends on the lake, and at home with her yellow labs “Taos”, “Mae” & “West” and her American Quarter Horses.
