User Bio Hi! My name is Daelin Harrison, and I am so excited to be a part of Ag Women Connect. I have lived in East Tennessee for the past 8 years. Before moving here, I lived near the beach in Florida where you didn't see many cows or farms nearby. I grew up not knowing what agriculture was or meant. The day I moved to Tennessee and saw all the farmland, cattle, and horses around me; I fell in love and my passion for agriculture started. I got a car the day I turned 16 and saved money by working as a host at a local restaurant to pay for horseback riding lessons. I was able to network and meet people through the horse world and learned I had a passion for veterinary medicine. I attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where I graduated with my Bachelor of Animal Science. I now work full-time for an Equine Dentist in Knoxville and get to talk to large animal veterinarians all day long. Outside of work, I love to hang out with my husband, Dalton, and our dog Draco. I also love to show my 9-year-old, quarter horse, Prada, in cutting and cow horse classes. My goal is to share my love for agriculture and show women that you don't have to grow up in it to be a part of it. If you have a passion for it, go for it.
