User Bio Lauren Perez is a strong advocate and pioneer for the agriculture industry. Being born into the industry, it is in her DNA and why she is so passionate to be a voice for it today, its future, and its legacy for generations to come. The new wave of agriculture for Lauren looks different than the generations that came before her. Her forefathers are recognized for their hard work, dedication, long days in the field, and callused hands. Lauren’s true belief in how to be successful is applying those core values and being able to adapt to changes. She wears many hats through serving as a financial analyst, talent specialist, rancher, and most importantly, mom. They all intertwine with the common goal to propel the industry to the next level and build a sustainable future for their children. Lauren alongside her husband, Drew, and two children, Mila and Myles, founded Running P Cattle Co. and built it from the ground up. Running P is a registered Hereford and Angus operation in the Panhandle of Texas. They market leading genetics and performance driven cattle to seedstock and commercial cattlemen across the country to take their operation to the next level. They have also expanded their cattle feeding operation to include beef/dairy cross feedyard cattle, a venture that expanded from Drew’s employment though Lone Star Calf Ranch. As she says, “Dare to be different.” After a decade of experience in the ag business and lending sector, Lauren founded LEP & Associates. LEP & Associates is a talent placement firm with the mission to match top-tier leaders with leading agriculture organizations. Her wheelhouse is achieving a WIN-WIN situation that drives success and ultimately propels America’s most vital industry forward. While her role in agriculture might be different than the ancestors that came before her, it’s the same God given grit and resilience that inspires her to be her own trailblazer and empower others to be courageous and stand strong for the industry that feeds the world.
