Business Bio I’m Teresa Johnson, an RN of 33 years. 3 years ago I went on my first ever girls trip and didn’t have nice luggage. I took some vintage luggage, added some vintage western belts and revamped a vintage train case into a travel jewelry case. I had several ladies request I take their vintage luggage and “westernize” theirs and Vintage Cowgirl Cases was born. Right after that CoViD hit and I began travel nursing. I’m of Choctaw descent and inherited some fabulous turquoise jewelry. I needed a way to safely travel with some of those heirloom pieces so designed a squash blossom case and filed for a patent. I further recognized a need for travel accessories with a western flair. I retired from nursing in October to build my business. A member of WESA, I have put my designs into production and as of January, my cases are in boutiques across the country and in Canada. My kids are grown but were very active in rodeo and FFA. My husband still team ropes and raises mini & toy Australian Shepherds on our small ranch in Krum, Tx.
