Who we are
This website is run by AG Women Connect (AWC) and the AG Women Connect Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our mailing address is 5815 82nd St, Ste 145 PMB 177, Lubbock, TX 79424. Questions about privacy can go to us through the contact form.
What we collect
- What you send us: your name, email, phone, state and message when you use a form, such as Contact, a speaking request, chapter interest or a scholarship reminder.
- Membership: your name, contact details, membership level, chapter and the profile details you choose to add.
- Purchases, tickets and gifts: what you bought or registered for and its status. Card payments are handled by Stripe. Foundation gifts go through Zeffy and Gala tickets through Auctria. We never see or store your full card number.
- Site visits: if you agree to analytics cookies, Google Analytics records pages viewed and general location (city level). We do not use advertising pixels or session recordings.
How we use it
- To answer your message and provide your membership, tickets, orders and member benefits.
- To send receipts, renewal reminders and account emails you need.
- To send the newsletter, but only if you checked the newsletter box. Joining, buying or writing to us never signs you up on its own.
- To understand which pages help people, using totals only.
The Member Directory
The Member Directory is for signed-in members only, and you choose whether to appear. Your email address is never shown to other members. Messages sent through the directory are passed along privately, and you decide whether to reply.
AgriStress and support pages
We do not track visits to AgriStress Support, crisis help or Disaster Relief pages. Requests for help are kept private, are never used for marketing and are never added to the newsletter.
Young people
Scholarship and Junior Ambassador information is kept private and is never used for marketing. We ask a parent or guardian for permission before we share the name or photo of anyone under 18.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that help us run AWC, such as Stripe for payments, Constant Contact for the newsletter (only if you subscribed), our email provider and our website host. They may use it only to provide their service to us. We may also share information if the law requires it. We never sell or rent your information.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in any email.
- Change your profile and directory settings in your member account.
- Turn analytics cookies off at any time.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete your information through the contact form.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Big changes will also be announced by email to members.
