Listen more and take action. This week we were extremely honored and humbled to sit in and listen to the investigation of the current and past Texas panhandle wildfires on behalf of the Ag Women Connect Foundation. These issues are not new. The farmers and ranchers have been advocating for change since 2006 and just now we have a committed coalition that came together who will not only give these fine folks a seat at the table, but bring solutions and reform to help prevent this from happening again. We want to personally thank the board and chairman Ken King, Dustin Burrows Todd Hunter, Jason Abraham, and James Henderson for not holding back and demanding answers.
There is a lot of work to do, but I feel confident that this is headed in the right direction and positive change will become of it.
