User Bio Ashleigh Mimms is a 2019 Texas Tech University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Plant and Soil Science. Ashleigh, her husband Ryan, and their three sons raise registered Herefords and grow cotton in Acuff, Texas. She is the current president of the Texas Hereford Auxiliary and has been a member for 8 years. In 2022 Ashleigh co-founded the South Plains Sweethearts, a nonprofit whose mission is to support traveling livestock exhibitors from the South Plains region at the San Antonio Junior Livestock Auction. To date, the South Plains Sweethearts have fundraised and donated over $75,000 to 806 area livestock exhibitors when they enter the sale ring in the Alamo City. When she’s not cheering on her sons during football season or at steer shows, Ashleigh enjoys studying viticulture and is the proud owner of 1100 Cabernet Vineyards.
