The U.S. government has officially reopened after a historic 43-day shutdown — the longest in history.
With this, funding has been restored to key agencies including the USDA and the FDA, bringing renewed stability to our agriculture community.
The agreement also extends Farm Bill provisions for one year and renews the Grain Standards Act, ensuring continuity, support, and regulatory certainty for farmers, ranchers, processors, and rural businesses.
This means we are finally back on track with the disaster assistance and economic relief so many in agriculture have been waiting for.
A critical step forward for rural America.
