User Bio Kalynn Baldock, Ed.D., is an assistant professor of agricultural science at Eastern New Mexico University. Dr. Baldock serves as the co-chair for the Agriculture, Food Science, and Kinesiology Department (AFSK). Dr. Baldock teaches agricultural education, animal science, and career and technical education courses. In addition to classroom teaching, Dr. Baldock advises students in the department and supervises student research in the agricultural laboratories. Dr. Baldock oversees the ENMU agriculture dual credit program working with public school districts throughout NM. In her role as department co-chair, Dr. Baldock supervises faculty, plans curricular schedules, and manages budgets. Dr. Baldock holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Dairy Science and a Master of Science degree in Secondary Education from Eastern New Mexico University. Dr. Baldock earned her Doctorate in Agricultural Education through Texas A&M and Texas Tech University and a certificate in agricultural communication and leadership from Texas Tech University. Dr. Baldock has more than eight years of teaching experience in secondary agricultural science and served as an FFA advisor. Before starting her educational/academic career, Dr. Baldock spent eight years working in the dairy industry, ranging from herd health manager to general operations manager. Dr. Baldock is known in the eastern NM community for her expertise in dairy cattle and artificial insemination. Dr. Baldock is from a farming family and was raised in eastern New Mexico, where she resides.
