User Bio Based in Weatherford, Texas, Jade Currid is an award-winning writer, juried photographer, and freelance contributor to equine, ranching, farming, and Western lifestyle publications. She is dedicated to sharing the stories of the people, traditions, and landscapes that define rural America. Her passion for agriculture and horses began at an early age. Jade earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communication with a Concentration in Journalism and a minor in Agricultural Leadership from Auburn University. In May 2026, she completed a Master of Science in Strategic Communication at Texas Christian University. She currently works full-time in higher education while continuing to pursue freelance writing and photography.
